EACH ITEM SPECIALLY SELECTED AND IS TITLED, HANDPAINTED AND DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR THE STYLE AND DESIGN. CUSTOM ORDERS ARE ACCEPTED FOR SPECIFIC ITEMS AND PROJECTS.
What is upcycling? Upcycling = "taking something old and creating something new" has grown increasingly popular in the world of sustainability. This process supports a circular economy using what we already have rather than constantly creating new products out of new materials The Instagram tag #upcycle currently has over five million posts, including images of upcycled art, clothes, DIY furniture, and more. Upcycling is incredibly beneficial for the planet.
THE MELAMACCI FAMILY
Each piece is designed and handpainted by Orewiler. Orewiler is a Great Great Grandson of immigrants, Paulo Giovanni Melamacci family from Reggio Calabria Italy. They lived in Little Italy, New York City in the 1900's.
Orewiler created the limited edition collection to honor those who were the working immigrants, foundation of America, his ancestral roots and spirit of adventure in the unknown world.
The Melamacci name is now honored on the wall along with hundreds of immigrants at Ellis Island, New York Harbor at the National Museum of Immigration - former immigrant inspection and processing station.
